Hey everyone! Here's a big post of the stuff I got basically throughout July.
I think I've been kind of a shopaholic this past month, which isn't a very good thing right now since I'm not making much money! But luckily most of this stuff was cheap, and I liked all of these purchases.

The Joann's stuff:
- I got the blue plaid fabric to make a skort! I def will make a diy post on that.
- I got the brown paisley fabric for a dress I had been planning for weeks before. I was just waiting for when I was going to be in the vicinity of a Joann's since there isn't one near me. I will probably make a post about the dress. I took lots of pictures except toward the end of making it since it has been kind of annoying. I 'finished' it yesterday night, but one side of the collar is messed up, so I'll probably go back n fix that (grr).
- The brown below the paisley is just the lining fabric for the paisley dress.
- Below that are zippers and thread for those projects I mentioned. I got the elastic for a scrunchie I wanted to make with the red fat quarter in the next picture.

The thrift store stuff:
Most of this stuff I'm keeping as is because they fit my fashion and me already.
I bought the blazer and belt for my future cosplay of Bloody Mary from "The Wolf Among Us," aka "Fables."
The two things I bought to change up are the gray collared shirt and the overalls. I really want some overalls, but these giant things were the only thing I saw. I got the pants sewn to my fit, but now they are turning into a pain so I'm avoiding them. I might make a post about what I did to the polo.

The antique store stuff:
I went to an antique store in downtown Plattsburgh in early July. I was already in the area and didn't have much time to look around because I had to get back home soon. I was able to find this cute bag, which I ended up using at my friend's wedding. You can see it in my selfie with my dress at this post!
I recently went back, looking for some rings and anything else that caught my eye. I found some cute rings and a matching floral shirt and short set. Pretty good finds!

Thrift Haul !

Here's what I recently bought at my local thrift store:

 

 A long, checkered dress that I cut into a mini dress.

 

A large men's button up with an interesting print. Not sure what I'm going to do with this yet; definitely going to cut it up some how though.

 This silk scarf, only $1! Couldn't resist buying it even though I rarely wear scarves.

 This fleece baseball cap. I first picked it out to seam rip for a cap pattern, but I ended up liking it the way it was. And it was only a dollar! :)

 

So I bought this hat instead to seam rip. I'm working on that right now. It's not as easy I thought it would be because of the button on top and the clasp in back are connected to the fabric.

I got some ideas for DIYs for these. I will probably post about how my hat comes out once I'm done. Soon I will probably post an OOTD with my new mini dress.

Thrift Haul

Hey, everyone. It's been a while, sorry!

Last Thursday I went to town n got some stuff at the Salvation Army.

High waisted pink shorts (one leg already pinned for a project ill post in the future)

a blue jean vest

printed mens button up

light pink dress

im excited for all of these items. I bought the shorts and button up w diys in mind, which ill post later. got the inspiration from my inspiration post here.

not sure if ill do anything to the vest. its fitted compared to vests ive bought in the past so I thot it was worth it, n I love collared shirts. I don't really like the pockets, so I might get rid of those, but we'll see.

I really love this pink dress. When I bought it, it was super wrinkly, but that went away after washing it. I really love the color and the fit of it. I will probably wear it under my gown at graduation. Also, for this midnight breakfast thing tomorrow night at my college, if you dress up like a superhero u can win door prizes, so I'm planning on dressing up like Blossom from the Powerpuff Girls in this dress. I don't have a wide black belt though, but that's not gonna stop me. Will probly instagram a pic of that outfit. I'm excited hehe :)
